Beat Boutique
The Good Old Days: promoting this great party series in 2008 was a blast! Beat Boutique was a well established club night in Cologne, Germany. The production manager of this party is a good friend of mine from the Roots and Routes network. We decided to set up three nights in Hungary: Budapest, Pécs and Veszprém. Pécs was the most successful, with a full-house attendance at the Urania Movie Theater. It was not just music: DJing and an interactive installation were provided by German artists, as well as the graphic design of this flyer. The interactive installation was the most fun: long plastic tubes connected the corners of the room so that people could talk to each other as if on a phone. In this way, a new method of communication was invented, specifically designed for the conditions that occur at a party event.
